Thank you to everyone who took the time to have their say about this project. This consultation has now closed while we consider feedback received. Information received will inform a refreshed design for the Boeing Reserve site, to be finalised by March 2026, catering to informal recreation users of Boeing Reserve.

Background

Boeing Reserve is home to one of the only skate half pipes in Moonee Valley and Council is refreshing plans for a new skate and youth area, at this location, to make sure it meets the needs of young people today.

Council is updating a previous design that includes skate elements, parkour-style play, and a refreshed playground. A lot has changed since the original plans, including community needs, design trends and the growth of trees on site, so Council wanted to hear from community.

Community Consultation

From 7 August - 16 September 2025, Council invited the community to have their say on the Boeing Reserve Skate and Play Space by attending an on-site pop-up session, completing an online survey or submitting drawings for the site. Community members were also welcome to contact us via the details on this page.

Council sought feedback about what types of play space are desired by the community and would complement a new skate park which will replace the existing skate halfpipe.
