Thank you to the community members who provided their feedback on this policy review. This survey is now closed. Phase 1 & 2 Consultation reports are now available:
Community facilities are vital for service delivery, social interaction, connectedness and place-making. Moving forward, it is critical they remain relevant and continue to fulfill a central role in Moonee Valley’s community life.
In July 2022 Council consulted with the community around a range of suggested principles to be included in a revised Community Facilities Management Policy. The aim of this was to ensure that the community continues to access community facilities in an equitable way. A report containing community feedback on that consultation can be found here. Many thanks to all those who contributed. Following consultation, a revised draft policy was considered and endorsed by Council. This revised policy is now ready for review.
We will be making direct contact with a range of stakeholders, particularly those who already access our facilities. We'd also like to understand the views of our broader community.
Have your say (survey and submissions are now closed):
We appreciate your views. All feedback will be recorded and presented to Council in a collated report. You may choose if your views are anonymous or identified as a submission.
