Planned indented parking, path upgrades and children's crossing on Afton and Ramsay Streets

New indented parking and path upgrades are planned for Afton and Ramsay Streets in Aberfeldie, including a children’s crossing at Ramsay Street. Indented parking is proposed on the east side of Afton Street and the north side of Ramsay Street.
The upgrades will create additional parking, reduce traffic congestion and improve pedestrian access and are actions of the Clifton Park Master Plan.
The design avoids tree removal where possible however in some cases in order to install parking and paths it may be unavoidable. Any trees removed will be replaced and together with new trees proposed will result in a net increase in trees. The design proposes passive irrigation of street trees.
Thank you for providing feedback on the plans for indented parking, path upgrades and the children's crossing. A summary of feedback can be found in the document library.
