About giving the community opportunities, or power, to have a say about making your neighbourhood better.  Empowering community can create better opportunities for citizens to:

  • Be involved in Council decisions
  • Provide comment and feedback about services
  • Initiate community led projects
  • Easily contact us about things that matter.  

Council has a role in providing opportunities for community to get involved.
