Help us create your new Flemington Library!
The Flemington Library’s Level 1 area is getting a refresh and we want your help!
This redevelopment project will give more space to the community to support learning, creative programs and large community events. Upgrades to the library amenities will make the library more welcoming and accessible to the local community. This project is supported by the State Government's 2021 Living Libraries Infrastructure Program.
Essential elements of the redevelopment will include:
- a DDA compliant lift
- extra public bathrooms
- a new insulated roof with a new air handling system to reduce carbon emissions from the operation of the building
- redesigning the two large meeting rooms which will mean more space for everyone on Level 1.
We’ve designed a plan for the new space, now we need your feedback:
