Imagine Windy Hill

What do you imagine for the future?

Windy Hill (Essendon Recreation Reserve) is a major iconic sport and recreation venue within the City of Moonee Valley.

Sport has had a long history at Windy Hill, having supported thousands of players and spectators of Australian Rules Football, cricket, croquet and lawn bowls over many, many years.

With changes in use (such as the Essendon Football Club moving its training base to the Tullamarine), ageing facilities, growth in the local community and increasing demand for spaces to provide multipurpose opportunities for all, we are keen to understand how you see Windy Hill in the future.

What do you want to do there?

How can it provide more opportunities for use by the local community?

How should it look long into the future?

What needs to be provided?

Together with user groups and the community, we will set a vision for Windy Hill that reinforces all that is special about it and that continues to position it as an icon for future generations to enjoy.
