A Commitment to the Moonee Ponds Creek

In November 2018 Council was pleased to join with 14 other like-minded organisations to formalise our commitment to revitalising the Moonee Ponds Creek.

Alongside a number of local councils, water authorities and community groups, we signed the Chain of Ponds Collaboration Memorandum of Understanding.

The collaboration will take a whole-of-catchment approach to the management of the creek, identify collaborative opportunities and protect and enhance biodiversity, open spaces, habitat and biolinks along the creek's corridor.
