Council undertakes a number of playground upgrades each year throughout the municipality, in accordance with Council’s Playspace Plan.

There are six playgrounds that have been identified as a priority for upgrade works, based on the condition of equipment, facilities and community needs which are as follows:

The Consultation has now closed and the feedback is being collated. We will be using community feedback to inform the final designs. Thanks to everyone who took the time to provide your views. We will share the final designs soon.

There has been some delay in commencing these playground upgrades, however it is intended to construct these playgrounds in the 2021/2022 financial year, subject to Council funding.

The designs will be amended and updated to address comments received from the community (wherever possible and where it is feasible to do so), to inform the final built outcome.

Please note, the playground at Progress Hillsyde Reserve is being reviewed due to the challenging topography of constructing a playground at this reserve, and a decision in relation to locating a playground at this park will be determined by Council officers in the coming months.

Thank you to those who have provided feedback to date.
