In the 1920s, when Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahoney designed the layout for the neighbourhood now known as Avondale Heights, they emphasised the importance of access to shared spaces and areas for children to play.

A century later, we are guided by similar principles as we work to create better places and spaces in Avondale Heights. Over the next several years we will build quality, future-proof spaces that our residents need, while celebrating our neighbourhood’s rich history and diversity.

We need your help to plan for new community spaces at Avondale Heights.

By Reimagining Avondale Heights, we will use
