Council is trialing solar lighting installation at Green Spine Linear Park near Fraser Street, Airport West.
In this trial Council are installing a single solar light to test the suitability. We are consulting with adjoining properties directly to seek their feedback.
There is currently no funding to extend the trial area.
The proposed solar light trial will be installed in the existing shared path between 57 El Reno Crescent and 58 Highridge Crescent.
The project includes the following work:
- Solar light installation
- Testing and commissioning of solar light
This project supports MV2040 objectives such as supporting the renewal energy and creating a low-carbon city and economy. This project promotes pedestrian and cyclist safety along the Green Spine Linear Park.
