Passionate about sport? Do you play community sport? Do you love kicking a footy around the oval with your family? Do you walk your dog on a local sports ground?

We are reviewing our Seasonal Sporting Ground and Pavilion Allocation Policy. The policy will guide the equitable and fair allocation of Council's sporting grounds and pavilions to sporting clubs, whilst also ensuring the reserves are able to be enjoyed by the wider community.

We would like to hear from community about what you think is important in considering access and allocations to sports ground and pavilions to help us develop our new policy. We would like the policy to consider the needs of our community including residents who use these important spaces within our local community.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this valuable discussion. We are currently collating responses and will be in contact with people about the findings and next steps shortly.

As a resident of Moonee Valley, do you feel that reserves are open and accessible to the community to use outside of allocated sporting club use?
