At the Ordinary Council Meeting on 23 March, 2021, Council resolved to bring forward the replacement of existing Lagunaria patersonia (itchy bomb) trees in the nature strips of Robinson Street, Moonee Ponds between Buckley Street and Blair Street with a more appropriate species.

Due to the complete removal of this type of tree from your street, we'd like your help choosing a new species. We have provided you with three suitable, climate resilient, high performing urban street trees for your consideration.

The following species are considered appropriate for the scale and context of the street. They include one non-native deciduous (drops leaves) and two native trees for you to choose from.

Please complete the poll below telling us which tree you would prefer to see planted along Robinson Street.
