Background
Valley View print magazine is delivered to every home in Moonee Valley four times a year. Council also produces the Valley View e-newsletter which hits inboxes monthly and Valley View Express, a periodic special edition available at Council facilities.
Community consultation
From 28 May – 15 September 2024, Council sought community feedback about what they'd like to read in future editions of Valley View, by asking:
- Do you find the content helpful?
- Are we missing anything?
Summary consultation findings
- A total of 83 people participated in the consultation.
- Most respondents said they find the content of the publications helpful, engaging and informative.
- Many respondents expressed interest in receiving more information about community events and services in Moonee Valley.
- Most respondents indicated they regularly read Valley View.
- The print magazine was reported to be the most frequently read version of Valley View.
- The predominant preference for receiving Valley View was between 2-4 times per year, delivered to residential mailboxes.
