Share your views on the proposed operational model of the Djerring Flemington Hub.

Moonee Valley City Council is building a new Flemington Hub at 25 Mt Alexander Road, Flemington. At its meeting on 29 November 2022, Council resolved to name the new community facility Djerring Flemington Hub* (Translation: Together Flemington Hub).

Council is seeking feedback on the way Djerring Flemington Hub will operate and be used by the community. The new Hub is due to open mid-2023.

The new facility is more than double the size of the old facility. There will be many free spaces available for community use. These include a large foyer with casual seating, an upstairs community lounge, a quiet prayer room and a wonderful roof top terrace.

Council is engaging with local Flemington residents and the broader community on their views about how the principles of the Draft Community Facilities Management Policy will work in practice at the new Djerring Flemington Hub. We would like to hear from the community on how it will be used fairly, with opportunities for all community members.

The Draft Community Facilities Management Policy is also open for community feedback at the moment. We'd love your feedback on that project also!

*This name was endorsed by Council on 29 November 2022. This recommendation has now been submitted to Geographic Names Victoria for registration.
