The Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) are developing a Master Plan that will guide and inform future development in the Racecourse Precinct within the Special Use Zone 2, which is shown as SUZ2 in the map below.
Council are exhibiting this document on Your Say Moonee Valley to gather community feedback to inform our response to the Master Plan.
The Master Plan includes the following elements:
A new racing, event and community precinct.
A new Grandstand on Wilson Street.
New mixed-use precincts in the west and north-east of the site.
The Master Plan and associated key documents can be viewed in the Document Library.
Council are seeking community feedback to inform our consideration of the Master Plan for approval. The Master Plan needs to be endorsed before MVRC can progress with the redevelopments that it proposes. You can provide a submission in the following ways until 5PM on 3 May, 2021:

Next Steps:
- The MVRC are presenting the Master Plan at the upcoming Council Strategic Briefing (currently scheduled for 20 April 2021).
- Following the close of the submission period officers will review any submissions prior to the matter being considered for approval.
