We invite you to join the Flemington Works Community Engagement Network to helps us implement the shared community aspiration themes of Education, Leadership and Representation.
What is the Community Engagement Network?
The Flemington Works Community Engagement Network is an initiative to gather a diverse group of residents who are interested in participating in a range of community engagement activities to help services better understand community needs, such as:
- Co-design new programs
- Focus group sessions
- One on one conversations
- Community chats
- Tailored surveys
Why join?
By joining the Community Engagement Network, you will have the opportunity to:
- Share your views: Your input will help shape future community programs for the Flemington Works Collective Impact Initiative.
- Connect with neighbours: Engage in meaningful discussions with fellow residents.
- Make an impact: Contribute to the collective impact initiative aimed at improving our community.
How does it work?
- Simply fill out the short form below to join the Community Engagement Network.
- Get involved: You may be selected to participate in co-design session, focus groups, one on one conversations, workshops, or surveys. Sometimes, participants will be chosen randomly, and other times based on specific criteria.
- Incentives: Depending on the activity, you may receive a gift card or a small incentive. Not all activities will have an incentive.
Selection process: Participants for various activities will be chosen via a name shuffle to ensure fairness and inclusivity. In some cases, participants may be selected based on specific criteria relevant to the activity.
Notice period: We will try and give you 1-2 weeks' notice for each activity.
Who can join?
We are looking for residents from all community and cultural groups, and all genders and age groups. Everyone's voice matters.
