Community Vision, Council and Health Plan 2021-25

We've already started talking to people in the community and if you’d like to learn about what we heard, you can read our Phase 1 Engagement Summary here.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback in Phase 2 to test our Community Vision MV2040 and contributed ideas and priorities for our Council and Health Plan 2021-2025 via:

  • contributing to an online poll, survey or discussion forum
  • came and chatted to us at a neighbourhood pop up chat
  • hosted a conversation with family, friends or your neighbours
  • participated in a telephone interview
  • attended a community workshop
  • or was one of the lucky residents to participate in the Moonee Valley Community Assembly!

By joining this important conversation around our 2040 Community Vision of a 'healthy city' and how we work towards achieving this through the Council and Health Plans 2021-2025.

Feeback from all events and activities is currently being collated and will be available on the Community Vision, Council and Health Plan page here.

You’ve told us that in 2040 you want Moonee Valley to be a ‘healthy city’ that’s a great place to live, work and visit, strengthened by a network of 20-minute neighbourhoods. Our neighbourhoods allow all people, at all stages, of life to live locally, accessing most of their needs close to their home.

As we continue to navigate the challenges of COVID-19 with lockdowns and travel restrictions, living locally is more important than ever. From your experience, are you able to access all you need close to home? If not, what is missing or needs improvement?

Join the conversation now, tell us what your neighbourhood needs for people to be able to live locally and access all they need close to home.
